Tiffany and Terrance had a lovely February wedding reception at the Penn Center on St Helena Island. Their civil ceremony took place a few days before the full celebration, as a private moment with their children and Tiffany's grandmother who had become very ill and was going to pass away in the days before their wedding was scheduled. It was a bittersweet celebration as Tiffany was still mourning the deep loss, but also so joyful to celebrate their marriage and long life of loving one another. Their reception was full of love and fun with all of their family and friends, and some absolutely gorgeous details.
While getting ready at the Hilton, Tiffany was absolutely serene. She seemed so at peace knowing she and Terrance were finally married after seven years of growing more and more in love, and couldn't wait to celebrate with her friends and family. Watching her best friend help her get into her dress...that was a moment full of so much emotion I could barely hold back my tears. Their bond was obvious just by watching them together. To quote Sex and the City, "What if our girlfriends are our soulmates?"
We had a first look because they had not worn their wedding garments for the ceremony and Terrance's excitement to see Tiffany was adorable! He looked at her like he just couldn't believe that was his wife. I can't blame him, she looked GORGEOUS! We took some time taking portraits in front of the marsh before heading over to the Penn Center for the reception, where there was lots of dancing, incredible food, and some really beautiful toasts from those who knew them best. I am so thankful I was invited into such an intimate day and got to experience their love and contagious peace and joy!
