Chandler and John have such deep and joyful love for each other that you couldn’t help but feel it all around you as you spent their wedding day with them. Second shooting this beautiful day with Devon Donnahoo Photography was such a pleasure, not only because it was spent at the stunning Tabby Place at Beaufort Inn, but because of how much happiness surrounded the bride and groom all day long.
While Devon hung out with Chandler and her bridesmaids as they got ready for the wedding, I spent the early afternoon hours with John and his groomsmen, who were having SO much fun you almost forgot what was bringing them all together that day. There was laughter filling every moment of their getting ready and continuing through their portrait time. John and his friends love each other deeply and it was so obvious as they laughed their way through the day while John prepared to see his bride as she made her way down the aisle.
The two opted not to have a first look and instead see each other as Chandler entered the doors of First Presbyterian Church and walked with her father to the love of her life. John’s expression of pure joy honestly brought tears to my eyes. The moment a groom sees his love for the first time will forever be my favorite. It’s always as though no one else is around, and the only people in the world for that special moment are the two joining their lives that day.
